Civic Beautification Group sets April 29 for Spring Clean-Up

The all volunteer Lima Civic Beautification Group invites members of the community to join them on Saturday, April 29 to assist with outdoor “spring clean up / clean sweep in the village of Lima. The group will meet at 8:30 AM at the corner of Genesee St and West Main St and plans to work until noon.  Volunteers are welcome to join in for any part of the morning. Any amount of time you can contribute will be greatly appreciated.  Further questions, please call 585-455-9225.

Who We Are:

We are a group of residents committed to beautifying our community.  We plant and maintain 12 village ‘sites’ within the village of Lima including the 3 village pocket parks, the 4 “Welcome to Lima” sign garden beds, the gardens at the Library and the Court building.  We also do a regular ‘Litter Patrol’ along Main Street and Rochester Street.  This is very much like an Adopt-A-Highway program.

We are always welcoming new volunteers to assist with keeping our village beautiful   any amount of your volunteer time is welcome!  Donations of plants are most welcome too!
