NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR SEALED BIDS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, pursuant to the provisions of §103 of the New York State General Municipal Law, the Town of Lima is seeking sealed bids for the provision of IT Infrastructure.  All interested bidders can request a copy of the bid specifications and bid submission requirements by contacting the Lima Town Clerk during regular office hours at the Lima Town Hall, located at 7329 East Main Street, Lima, New York, by email at clerk@townoflima.org, or by facsimile request at (585) 624-6129.

 

Sealed bids are required to be received by the Town, no later than March 2, 2020 at 10:00 a.m., at which time, all received bids shall be opened and read and where the identity of all bidders will be publicly disclosed.  Bid submissions must be sealed.

Please note that every bid submitted shall require the following certification to be submitted as part of the bid document:

 

“By submission of this bid, each bidder and each person signing on behalf of any bidder certifies, and in the case of a joint bid each party thereto certifies as to its own organization, under penalty of perjury, that the bidder has implemented a written policy addressing sexual harassment prevention in the workplace and provides annual sexual harassment prevention training to all of its employees. Such policy shall, at a minimum, meet the requirements of section two hundred one-g of the New York State Labor Law."

 

The Town of Lima reserves the right to reject any and all bids at its sole discretion.

Sealed bids are required to be received by the Town, no later than February 26, 2020 at 10:00 a.m., at which time, all received bids shall be opened and read and where the identity of all bidders will be publicly disclosed.  Bid submissions may be made either physically or electronically by email to supervisor@townoflima.org.

LEGAL NOTICE TOWN OF LIMA RESIDENTS NOTICE OF RECEIPT OF TAX ROLL AND WARRANT

TAKE NOTICE, that I, Jennifer Heim, the undersigned Collector of Taxes of the Town of Lima, County of Livingston and State of New York, have duly received the Tax Roll and Warrant for the collection of taxes within the Town of Lima for the year 2020, and that I will be available at the Town Hall located at 7329 East Main Street, December 31, 2019 through March 31, 2020 from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays (closed Noon to 1:00 PM), Thursdays Noon to 7:00 PM & Wednesdays 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon, except Saturdays, Sundays and holidays for the purpose of receiving the taxes listed on said roll. 

TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that taxes may be paid on or before JANUARY 31, 2020 WITHOUT PENALTY.  Taxes payable February 1st through March 2nd PLUS 1% interest, taxes payable March 3rd through March 31st PLUS 2% (PLUS $2.00 after mailing of second notice).  This fee is to help cover the expense of mailing such notice against the Parcel. 

TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that pursuant to the provisions of law the tax roll of the Town of Lima will be returned to the Livingston County Treasurer’s on the 1st day of April 2020.

In compliance with Article 7 of the Public Officers’ Law relating to Open Meetings, be advised that the Town of Lima Town Board’s Organizational Meeting will be held Thursday, January 2nd at 10 AM. Regular meetings of the Lima Town Board will be held as listed, starting at 6PM:

Regular business will be conducted at this time. All meetings are at the Town Hall located at 7329 East Main Street, Lima.
